Objectives :
A desperate need

1) Eliminate child labour in the 6-14 age group. Most children are sent to work on farms, in hotels, on the streets selling goods and in private households working long hours.

2) Give children back their childhood. They should be well educated with other children, learning through play as well as school work. Childhood passes so quickly. They will have the rest of their lives to work.

3) Enrol children who do not attend school in the nearest schools and hostels. This is a key area. We will provide a school where children will be able to attend without paying any fees regardless of caste or religion. Where necessary, to ensure that all aspects of the curriculum are covered, we will link with other schools.

4) Motivate parents by conducting awareness programmes about children's education. Parents need to be involved in the programme. They should be made aware of the importance of early education for their children to give them a good start in life.

5) Involve village communities in child education. When a community acts together, it becomes stronger and the benefits are greater.
